Next in our Fruited IPA series, we take our inspiration from Valencia California. Famous for it's sweet, tangy profile, the IPA takes it's predominant flavour from the orange oils, backed up by orangey hops, with strong tangy character coming from the bitter orange peel in the boil. The zest and malt combination give a beer that's golden to orange in colour with a slight haze and pours with a thick fluffy head.

Copenhagen 3/1 2024. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Pattern in orange, red and yellow in White Hag's usual design.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a huge white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of Stone fruit and sweet oranges. mingling with a more subtle scent of tart citrus fruit. Peach and oranges. Lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter. A tad thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is watery with a dry touch.
A bit flat but with a nice touch of Orange.
