The immense chocolate and coffee notes of the BA imperial stout give way to a sweet treacle and molasses like flavour. Full body with soft caramelisation, finishing with a mellow alcohol warmth.

Copenhagen 25/4 2024. 33 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Very detailed can with a rustic version of White Hag’s logo in red.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the foam. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet roasted and malty odor mingling with earthy notes and fumes of alcohol. Dark roasted malts, toffee and leather. Rum and alcohol saturated wood.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately intense bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish without being cloying with a boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry like a good shot of rum.
Exquisite.
