This sessionable Red ale is named after a beautiful female deer Sadhbh (pronounced 'Sy-ve') which morphed into the wife of the legendary warrior Fionn. Irish red deer have a long association with feasting, drink and celebrations. This red ale gives aroma of lightly roasted toffee and caramel, with a nutty bready flavour and light bitterness, smooth and balanced with a light body and slightly dry finish.

Copenhagen 7/1 2022. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Colorful can in flower pattern. Pink, orange, burgundy, red and black. Could be a tablecloth from the seventies.
Pours clear maroon with red hue. Dense off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty, slightly sugary odor mingling with subtle sourish notes. Sweet caramel, toffee. A bit of brown sugar. Light whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is thin, watery and a bit sweet. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.
Not too sweet - but very thin and weak in flavor.
