Black lager is has all drinkability of a lager with the complex dark roasted aromas associated with dark beer. Brewed with lager yeast and lagered for 2 weeks to marry and mellow the complex flavours out to make for a flavourful and refreshing beer.

Copenhagen 19/3 2026. 44 cl can from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Can in White Hag's usual design with an intricate pattern in black, white and orange.
Pours clear dark mahogany with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and roasted malty odor mingling with a light but distinct scent of citrus fruit- Sweet lightly roasted dark malts. Caramel and toffee. Citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense but gets stronger as the beer warms up. Medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little tart. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry and a little thin.
Cute little boar.
