pours a deep dark chocolate with a fair amount of carbonation. about a 2 finger head that dicipated slowly with nice lacing.
nice roasted malt bouquet with hints of earth, peet, and cocoa.
opens up with notes of dry bitter cocoa powder, espresso, and vanilla. finishes long with a slight bitterness. nice...
plenty of carbonation that balances nicely with the rich malt and hops.
i could easliy blow thourgh this growler in a night. it's a full-bodied stout that doesn't make you feel bloated. an exceptional stout from an excellent brewery. SM Brewery comes through once again.

Poured a nice jet black with a decent head. Smelled of some roasted malt and maybe some vanilla in there somewhere. The taste followed suit. It was very well balanced, not watery, not to thick that it was syrpy. A well bodied stout that I could actually drink a few of.
