I found a love for it. Different from an average wc-ipa by a bit more spice. Not a great example of it's label, but a I found it enjoyable in its own right. Just me, which I guess is what all our review are.

In a region of such high quality IPAs I would embarrassed to serve this beer. It smelled and tasted like soap. It was a struggle to get the whole pint down. My wife tried the Blonde and had the same struggle. It's a shame because I really liked the owner, atmosphere of the brewery and it's close to home.

I dunno. this beer pours nice but that's about where it ends. nothing offputting but the flavors don't really stand out and you get a end palate astringent taste that is kind of funky. this is the second beer ive had from these guys and both were not great. prob not even good.

This beer isn't bad at all.
Good nose with some hops in there, west coast. Not too prominent though.
Pretty malty in the taste, which I like, but not really a west coast thing.
I'd say this is more of an old school c.1990's New England IPA.

Just OK, I'm from the area, a little disappointed in this offering, mild taste, OK, just nothing special. Didn't taste "soapy" like some of the other reviews, brewery is relatively new so batch quality could be an issue.

A: slight haze; deep gold in color; with a fairly aggressive pour, a 1 finger ivory head that receded to a thick collar; very nice lacing;
S: my first whiff was pine and tropical fruit; after that, it seemed medicinal and soapy;
T: unfortunately, the flavor followed the second part of the aroma; finish is quite bitter, but not in a good way;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;
O: I just do not like the flavor;

from the can..it's not a bad beer to go to if there's nothing else around. doesn't quite deserve the shredding this thread has given. bad batches or something? there's far worse out there. i'd try again.

Tastes and smells like a soapy bandaid. One of the 5 worst beers I have ever had. Shocked that this would be sold. The only explanation for it would be if it go infected after canning. However, a taste like this would take some time to develop (I think). Yikes.

Grabbed a 4 pack of 16 oz cans from the local liquor store. Poured into a 20 oz Guinness glass.
Slightly hazy amber color with big white bubbles.
Aroma is straight up Star San and detergent.
Sharp medicinal taste followed by a brutal bitterness that reminds me of fast dissolving pills.
I will never buy this again.
