Growler: This one pours a dark brown color. Minimal head and lacing. The aroma is decent. Some roastiness and coffee. The taste is decent. Some roast and coffee. A bit dry. A decent enough stout.

A lackluster mysterious black color you'd expect in an Irish style stout. But where it differed from the obvious commercial counterparts (i.e. Guiness) it offered up a rich toffee/nut sweetness and finished with a slightly acidic, coffee-like smoothness. This combination created a very memorable drinking experience. It's very drinkable without being too easy.
