Taster at Powder Hollow. Dark brown pour, a thin ring of beige bubbles. Aroma is Nesquick chocolate powder, sweet. Taste is melted crayons, chocolate powder, sweet. Thin feel.

With a name like Prohibition Porter, I was expecting it to be aged in hard liquor barrels. It had a coffee flavor that I didn't like.

Nice dark Porter with one finger head and a very steady head that lasts, smell likes caramel or chocolate but I found myself searching for it, the taste was a good kick in the teeth of coffee but disappears quite quickly, not a oily feeling it comes then quickly leaves with the coffee taste leaving you wanting another gulp

Much like their Caffeination Station Espresso Porter, this beer seemed closer to a stout than a porter. It was a lovely dark brown, with a half finger head that left some lacing, but that's where it diverged a bit.

Aroma was roasted malt and coffee, but much more powerful than I would expect from an average porter.

Taste was also heavy on the roasted malts and bitter coffee, without a lot of chocolate flavors.

Mouthfeel was thick and oily, with some creaminess from the carbonation.

Overall I am giving this marks slightly above average, because it is a good solid beer. Don't get me wrong, I would drink this one again without hesitation. But it was a bit thick and heavy and I would have referred to it as an American Stout had I been given it blind.
