This beer is aptly named. A true pale ale with a nice amber color and a thin head that left some light lacing on the glass.
The aroma was a strong hit of mixed tropical fruits, but pineapple was the dominant. I also got passion fruit and mango.
Flavor was strong on the tropical fruits, again leaning more toward pineapple. However, there was a strong bitter character that trailed into a long bitter aftertaste. A little astringent and a bit more bitter than I would have liked given the aroma profile.
Mouthfeel was average, nothing spectacular.
Overall a good solid beer but not the best offering. Worth trying in a sampler.
