16 oz can, 3 finger head.
Dark brown to black pour. This beer is all head. Yellow-beige head of 3 fingers, leaves lace behind.
Licorice and roast malt on the nose. Slight coffee, slight dark chocolate.
Kinda tastes like shit with some darkened roast malts, blackened to the point of being bitter. Faint licorice and dry roast malt behind it. Like a torched turd.
Feel is over carbonated for a Russian. Roasty dryness. Some alcohol heat.
Overall a sucky Russian Imperial Stout. Would not have again.

Appearance – Two finger head on a dark brown clear body.
Aroma – Dark roasted malts, a little bitter chocolate, faint coffee, light sweetness.
Taste – Dark bitter malts, roasted barley. Almost charred. No chocolate, no coffee.
Mouthfeel – Full and solid, not too thick, not too thin.
Overall – Good but more would have been appreciated from the flavor.

Poured from a 16 ounce tall boy can into a pint glass. Good head with some fine lacing. Delicious odors of strong coffee, almost like expresso with that burnt roast aroma. Taste follows suit, as that strongly roast coffee flavor permeated thru the first sips. Slight fizzy feeling on the tongue. Smooth down the throat, despite the 8.1 abv. I would definitely purchase this stout again!

Pleasantly surprised by this rich and soft and creamy RIS. Aroma of deep roasted malts, hint of cocoa. Taste is roasted grain, maybe some dark fruit followed by a dryness from the hops and mild booze. Mouthfeel could carry a bitore weight. But that's it's only flaw. Their best beet yet for me.
