Three Huskies Brewing

Hopping little sports bar with a brewery in the back. Very much a locals hangout, and the staff seemed to know everyone. Tap room has a curved bar that seats about 15 and another dozen tables and booths around the room, plus a deck out the side door and a patio out front. 10 beers on tap, plus that have a bunch of MBC in bottles. I had the Hazy Husky and it was very nice. Friendly, efficient service. Menu is pub fare, although they seem to be known for their wings... which were very tasty. Great place to watch a game and have a pint.

The last place I stopped at in Canandaigua was Three Huskies. I would have liked to try more of their beers but there was a concert in town and they said with how busy it was they weren't doing flights. That aside I tried 3 of the beers they had on tap and all of them were pretty solid. Despite being shot down for a couple flights the staff was attentive and nice. The selection was pretty good too. The vibe was basically like a regular sports bar inside and out, you'd never really know it was a brewery as well. It's a decent spot, I would have liked to stay longer next time.

This was a very interesting place to go to. It’s actually a sports bar and a brewery all in one. The way it looks and feels it seems it’s more of a bar that the loacald tend to go to because the staff seemed to know everyone in the bar and treats them like family which was a nice friendly vibe. The bartender was also very knowledgeable about the beer and friendly. They have 2 bars; 1 is a regular bar with house beers on tap as well as other more common beers and the 2nd bar was basically a small tap room that was nice and cozy and kind of off to the side for a different group of people who like craft beer to attend too essentialy ruling out the typical local bar scene. They had 5 house beers on tap I believe, and they all were pretty decent tasting but, nothing spectacular but definitely not a disappointment by any means. This place a very friendly and chill vibe that is definitely worth the stop.

 

 

7/25/16 Stumbled upon this mini brewery in the back of Dobber's sports bar on Lakeshore Dr., Canandaigua. Got escorted from the main bar to a 3 person tasting bar next to the fermenters in back. Very small but quaint. The girl serving was very knowledgeable and relaxed. They had 5 IPAs on tap that day!!!! Very reasonably priced. Great beers - all rated fantastic. We brought the wives and kids back a few days later for a fabulous lunch with brews on the patio. The service and food was impeccable. Good wings. Staff was so nice but not kissing our tails in a phony fashion. "Come as you are" vibe. Growler fills a day later were fairly priced and well served. Not a purist traditional brewery taproom by any means but outstanding service, good food and the beers....oh the beers. They stood up against any brewery in the Finger Lakes!!
