Medium bodied and lightly hopped. Brewed with 100% English caramel malts. Toasty malt sweetness, hints of chocolate and toffee.

On tap at the Surf 'N' Suds Beer Festival held at Carpenteria State Beach in Carpenteria, CA.
Pours a murky dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, and roasted nut aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, caramel, and nut flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of toast and earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.
Serving type: on tap.
