The Schoolcraft Lager (tasting room only, at this point) is pretty much Upper Hand's go at an OKtoberfest, and it's a wonderful beer! The color reminds me of the German Oktoberfest imports - it's a paler, golden-amber color, and not orange like many of the American varieties (not that the color makes or breaks a beer.) I had a few pints of this brew the last time I visited their tasting room... and I'm looking forward to more! The flavor is as you'd expect from the style. Clean, mildly sweet and malty, with a crisp hops finish (and just a hint of hops!)
