Served on tap at the tasting room. Served in a snifter. Honey-hued, slightly hazy, with a finger of foam. Aromas of clove, banana, pineapples, white grape. The elevator pitch for the flavor would be a beautiful Belgian IPA and a Brut ale had a baby. Great blending of flavors of bubble gum, spice, banana, pineapple, grape must, oak, vanilla. Not muddled but very clean tasting. Absolutely no hint of booze. Would love to have again and again.

Pours orangish gold. Foamy, short white head that Fades fast.
Smells Chardonnay, Oaky, bready malt and Light Citrus.
Taste bready malt, Oaky, wine, citrus peel and a lighter earthy and peppery yeast. Finishes dry with a citrus peel linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

I'm a huge fan of Belgian beers. The brewmaster at Upper Hand did something special with this brew! While it's not what I expected, I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I've had many pints of it.
You can only get this in their taproom, and at a few bars or events in the Escanaba area. Mine have all been served in large pint-sized mugs, that show off the beautiful golden hue. It has a sweet wine-like aroma (aged in Chardonnay casks) which is pretty unique. When it comes to flavor, I definitely pick up the wine barrels, but there's also a fun brightness and sweetness present too, which makes it very complex and fun to drink.
Hopefully they do something like this again, soon!
