We got a growler filled at Upper Hand tap room. This not available in bottles or cans. Amazingly smooth, nothing hot about the high abv. Great nutty molasses and Caramel flavors. Sweet but not cloying and I was surprised at how my pallet didn't tire from it.

Yum! I did not care much for the Old Fighter before they tossed it in the barrel - a bit too hoppy for my tastes. Well, the barrel took care of that quite nicely! I had 4 of them at an event at the brewery, and enjoyed each and every drop!
The beer is a beautiful coppery-brown color. Flavor and aroma both say the same thing - boozy malty oaky goodness!
Highly recommended!

Pours murky reddish brown. Foamy, short off white head that is short lived.
Smells oaky, bourbon, rye, pepper, vanilla.
Tastes rye spice, bourbon, oak, light vanilla and light bready. Finish is dry with strong barrel character almost overpowering the base. Medium body and creamy medium carbonation.
