A dank, piney beast brewed for hop lovers. The use of roasted malts and addition of orange zest give Gitche Glumee an unexpected twist.

Served on tap at the taproom in beautiful Escanaba, MI. Nonic pint, dark, brown/Cola in color with a khaki head. Nice aromas of roasted malt and floral and citrus notes. Flavor is very well balanced; most Black IPAs are a bit more piney. This one is reminiscent of roast coffee, floral hops, and dark chocolate covered orange rinds.

Pours dark brown. Foamy, short white head that Fades fast.
Smells Pine, Citrus, roasted malt and fruity.
Tastes Pine, Citrus and roasted malt. Followed by fruit and pine. Finish is dry with a roasty linger and citrus peel. Lighter medium body and fizzy lighter carbonation
