poured dark with a thin khaki head. smell was roasty, coffee, some dark chocolate and the slightest amount of hops. A good amount of chocolate and coffee notes in the taste with the hops being present as well. It was a medium body stout, not too thin like a milk stout but not overly thick. This one will make a great base beer if they decide to add adjunct flavors - I can't wait to see those.

I had a glass of this earlier this week (7/21/15) when the brewery opened to the public. It's pretty good, though it didn't stand out to me in any way. The stout is dry in nature and has more hops than I expecting. I'm somewhat particular about my stouts and don't exactly love the drier ones, so I'm not the best judge for this style. I did like this, but it isn't really my "thing." I likely will give it another chance at some point, though. To me, this beer is rated 3.5-3.75 stars.

Similar to their IPA, this has all of the makings of a great beer, but the taste falls short. If you like a very dry, super hopped stout, this one is for you. I would prefer at least a hint of malty sweetness to balance out the hops but there is none. Hoping the brewmaster is still tweaking the recipe because with some small changes, this would be a stellar stout.

Enjoyed at the brewery on the opening night of Ten 10. This stout pours a dark black color with a small off-white head. The aroma and taste are dark and roasty with a good amount of hops.
