I had a pint of this brew at the brewery on a recent visit with my bros and some friends.
The beer arrives cold in a pint glass with minimal beige head primarily existing as an edge layer. the beer is much darker in color than I anticipated, it is more stout like in appearance. Aroma is a bit of grainy malt and some caramel, but also fairly roasted malt.
First sip reveals an average body with gentle rolling carbonation. Flavor is a little nutty with a good dose of roasted malt and maybe a little earthy hop balance. Booze is hidden making this a great session beer and it is complex enough to not get bored. The dark color did throw me a bit at first but this is an enjoyable beer and one that I would enjoy again. Nice to see a new brewery putting out some solid beer. The place was a great spot for a pint or two
