Neighborhood Stop Liquor Market

You could drive by this place a million times without a second glance. It is very unimpressive on the outside. Actually, the inside isn't much better either. But they have an impressive beer selection. I found several Bruery selections, which I have no chance of finding in Maine. Several Stone, Founders selections. A nice sour from Mammoth Brewing for my wife.
While visiting my daughter I will be here often.

Went to this place thanks to the reviews on here.This was a major find for me as they had a pretty good selection of beers I was looking for.A lot in the cooler and they did have several warm beers.I found lots of Founders,Modern times,Yeti,stone lagunitas,bell,and a lot more.The place is not much to look at but they did have a very knowledgeable salesmen who was the son of the owner.He told me that they are trying to bring more craft beers to the antelope valley.If your in the area check it out.

This is a nice little store. The staff are helpful and keep the store clean. All beer and wines are cold stocked. Not a huge selection of beers, but makes sure to cover the spectrum sours to stouts. It looks like they don't stock anything under an 85 rating. New stuff comes in twice a week and they always update on instagram. This is my go to place here in the AV.

Jack now has added even more room on the shelves to make room for all the beers that comes in (placed away from the doors and sunlight). He his distro is awesome and usally gets beers when a couple days of release.

This is an old school, slightly rundown minute market. From the outside there is no reason to suspect that it will offer an impressive selection of craft and international beers, but it does. It was recommended to me by beer advocates friends in the area, and I'm glad they told me. I used the former BA place rating scale to compute my rating. The total is not very high, because of the store's sketchy atmosphere. However, trust me, it's all about the selection.

Appearance - 2.75 - This shop has no gas pumps, just a few snacks, cigarettes and alcohol. It is an older building with plain shelves and coolers.

Quality - 4 - The beers I've gotten here have been well maintained. Some of the stock is in coolers. All of it is kept well inside the store away from the windows.

Service - 3.5 - The clerk on duty when I went was friendly and enthusiastic about the craft beer, and somewhat knowledgeable.

Selection - 4.5 - The selection runs the gamut of California craft brewers, and most of the well-known British, Belgian and German brewers. Although they may only have one or two of each beer, those they have go deeper into the unusual and specialty beers from each brewery than I can typically find at Bev-Mo or Trader Joe's.
