I had a pint of this on tap at the Charlotte Airport. It was the worst IPA I’ve ever had. The appearance was of light muddy water, the nose and taste atrocious. Was it a bad batch?

Nice clear orange brew with a fluffy head that is more light tan than white. Sticky lacing everywhere. Nice citrus, mango, papaya melon aromas are sweetened with some caramel scents. Lots of melon and tropical fruit in the taste with sweet malt and a both pithy and floral bitterness. Very nice beer.

I'm trying this at the house my Bestie rented on Hilton head. It poured a clear copper with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent was bland with touches of citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Pours copper. Thick, tall, off white head that fades to a rocky head that lasts a while.

Smells tropical, herbal, citrus, malt and metallic hints.

Tastes Caramel malts, citrus, tropical. Followed by herbal bitterness. Finish is dry with a hint of metallic taste. Medium body and fizzy higher carbonation.

A: Pours a clear deep copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate burnt orange highlights. The beer has a two finger tall foamy beige head that reduces to a small to medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of tropical/mango, herbal, and grassy hops over the top of moderate aromas of slightly sweet caramel malts.

T: Upfront there is a just shy of moderate flavor of caramel + toasted malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly heavier than moderate flavors of tropical/mango, tropical/melon, herbal, citrus/grapefruit zest, and grassy hops which impart a slightly heavier than light amount of bitterness which lingers slightly.

M: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a smooth finish with just a hint of dryness.

O: A little more malty than I personally prefer in my IPAs but still flavorful and easy to drink. Enjoyable and I could definitely see myself grabbing this one again.

Pours into an imperial pint glass a clear brass color with a half finger white head that settles into a soapy-like mass.Aromas are more herbal and grassy to me compared to the big citric/resiny IPA's I'am used to.A caramel malt base really stands out up front on the palate with the citrusy hops coming in late with a touch of grass as well.A big malty IPA here, not bad but to me the malt steals the show over the hops.
