Copenhagen 30/10 2021. 47,3 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Can with a very colorful drawing of very colorful fantasy creatures running about in a very colorful fantasy landscape.

Pours opaque, hazy, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a prominent, sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with citric notes. Peach and clementine. Grapefruit and lemon.

Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

Solid NEIPA from Fantasy Land where half melons with legs reign.

Pours a very hazy orangish yellow color with an off white head which lingers. Tropical fruit on the nose. Taste is sweet from tropical fruit especially melon and pineapple to begin with followed by a grapefruit like bitterness. The finish on the taste is a little unbalanced almost a play-doh like funk to the taste which I couldn’t place.

Bright, hazy orange with a short cap of white head that fades after about a minute. Smells of tropical fruit. The flavor has notes of melon, grapefruit, pineapple, and a hint of coconut. This is a medium bodied beer with a higher than wanted level of carbonation.

This is a decent beer, but I'm not getting the pina colada elements. The coconut is super subtle.

Interesting beer. Bought on vacation in the tiny town of Andrews, NC…..one of the only solid looking Craft options available. Was hoping for more local but understood due to how remote this mountain area is glad to at least see Sycamore as well as know the area isn’t a DRY county (yes those still exist!).

Some definite tropical coconut pineapple orange flavors going on as well as some bitter resin on the nose. Mostly tropical on the palate with a touch of stale tart watermelon too…beer isn’t old (canned this same month of June). Mouth has a bit too much carbonation for my liking.

Overall not a bad beer but not amazing. I’ll say for drinking next to a Mtn stream in the middle of nowhere I’d continue to buy and drink without much complaint but seeing this on a shelf back home amongst many many many other IPAs I can confidently say I’d pass for a superior IPA every time.

Getting a lot of coconut and pineapple, on the nose and initially on the palate the brewery claims “pina colada,” I can confirm that description. Wondering if there is Sabro in this...I’d be shocked if it wasn’t. Definite sweetness upfront, almost vanilla-like. A touch of citrus midway, tangerine, sumo, Halo’s whatever they call them in your area! Think of the sweeter citrus fruits. Medium carb, drinks a little heavy, but smooth simultaneously, almost zero bitterness...The more I drink the more it grows on me. I’ll gladly finish the 4 pack but probably wouldn't buy again, will definitely look at some of their other offerings, some potential here. Flavor profile in this one isn’t my favorite, so personal bias there. But, overall a solid offering. I can see this being popular among people who don’t want bitter, overtly earthy IPAs.

I am trying a can of this beer at my bestie's house in Charlotte, NC. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace . The scent had subtle dank citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Lemongrass and tropical melon nose. Juicy and melon on palate. Citrus smooth finish.
