On tap at Steuben Brewing Company in Hammondsport, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like biscuity malt, orange peel, grapefruit, pine, and grass.
I haven't really gotten excited about a blonde ale in basically forever. Nonetheless, this is really excellent. It's got a nice lemony and citrusy hop character, with a crisp and clean malt backbone, and a slight bit of bitterness.
I could see drinking a lot of this easily, as it's super crisp, clean, and drinkable, with a light body.
This makes blonde ales sexy, which is certainly hard to do.
