On tap at Steuben Brewing Company in Hammondsport, NY.
This one pours a light caramel brown color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like caramel-drizzled bread, some dark fruitiness, lager yeast, toasted brown bread, etc.
The taste on this is great - the malt richness is real. There's a bit of caramel and honey, and a good amount of lightly sweet breadiness, along with some light flinty fruitiness as well.
This is medium bodied, drinkable, crisp, and clean, with a soft level of carbonation.
This was nicely rich and full, and represents most everything that I like in this style.
