Danko Rye is a Polish variety of malt which is less aggressively spicy than other Rye varieties. We use a blend of hops that provide a nice tropical fruit and citrus aroma.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a very hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like only lightly of rye, with pulpy orange juice and mandarin, pineapple, and mango.

There's only a light bit of spiciness from the rye, and a touch of piney bitterness, but it's otherwise all juicy and creamy hop goodness. It's super orangey, with tons of citrus, and a bit of herbal hop character as well.

This is medium bodied and pretty creamy, with a good level of drinkability.

Like basically every Steuben beer I've had so far, this is tasty.
