Bright golden body, slightly hazy; dense, creamy, very sculpted head; sticky gobs of foam adhering to the sides of the glass. Rich, bready, caramel aroma; rustic, oak-like aroma; bread crust. Rich, malt and cereal flavors; nice balance of hop bitterness midway through the taste through the finish. Medium-heavy body; fair amount of residual sugars but not cloying; warm and bright.
A very solid extra pale ale bringing some rich, crisp malt character overall with just enough bright, spicy hop bitterness to add depth and complexity.

12 oz. Can
Pours a pretty nice slightly hazy dark golden orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, slight malt note, with some citrus, slight grapefruit. The taste is hoppy, slightly malty, with some citrus, slight grapefruit. Medium body, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty nice thirst quencher.

i just discovered these guys in aspen, never knew they existed, still dont know anything about them other than that they make sold beer and they can this one. i was impressed with everything about this particular beer. its beautiful in the glass, hazy and creamy headed with nice lace as it drinks. it smells and tastes like bright citrusy hops and has some malt flavor to it but isnt at all heavy or sweet. its expertly carbonated, clean and hoppy in the finish, only moderately bitter, refreshing, satisfying, useful in all seasons and contexts, has mass appeal but is still obviously hand crafted, and is frankly way to good to have come from a place that isnt even on the map yet. they should do well with this one, i know its all over the resorts already, so they have done well marketing in the early going. i thought this was the best of the three or four beers i had from these guys. i expect to see them make it do denver here before too long. great pale ale this one, distinct and delicious.
