everything about threes just spoke to me, especially their funky beer, and this lightly bretty well dry hopped crusher is just what i like in beer right now, its complex, yet simple, agricultural, yet new school, layered, yet poundable, it just covers all the ground i care to walk in a single glass of beer, and i respect the heck out of these guys not just for this one, but for all of them. the brett here is way mature for what this is, a quick one, hoppy and speedy, but the yeast character is really well developed, that clean sort of funky that you can sip and have it go away, and then taste it again anew the next sip, like it doesnt linger enough to establish itself and be fatiguing, and i think thats a treat in the style. lightly hazy and highly bubbly, this has notes of wet basement, green pear, high carbon minerals, and a musk i want to wear on a date someday. you dont have to be dumbed down to flavorless or worse soulless to be a session beer, this is proof of that, so fun to have a yeasty thing like this be so drinkable. threes is killing it, and this is demonstrative of that. so good.

Enjoyed on tap at DeCicco's in Brewster, NY and now reviewed at home from a 1/2 growler.

Medium hazed, lighteryellowy amber, delicate and whispy film, collar and great looking lace left all over the glass.

Earthy, slightly musty, fruity brett tinged nose.

This is a super tasty, complex and well crafted brew...some soft citrus, melon, and again earthy, slightly funked up brett makes its presence known..lingering lime and light pepper in the finish.....delicious...please can this nectar and distribute the shite out of it
