IPA hopped with Citra, Mosaic, and Motueka
Bad Wallpaper is an interesting counterpart to Logical Conclusion given its complementary hop blend. Logical features Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. We swap the Simcoe in Logical for Motueka in Bad Wallpaper. Whereas Simcoe is citrus-forward with a hint of pine, Motueka possesses lime leaf character that plays off Citra and Mosaic well.
Bad Wallpaper also features English malt, known for its honey-like flavor. This beer comes around once, max twice, per year, so grab it while you can. We hope you enjoy it, but if you don't, well, at least you're not stuck with it.
Tasting Notes: Guava, Resin, Citrus Pith, Smooth, Zest

Hazy, orange color. Big, white head. Tropical fruits and some pine in the aroma. Moderately bitter. Not bad ,but it is hard to stand out in the enormous NEIPA crowd nowadays

A very well made IPA that deserves a lot more attention. It pours hazy but don't let that fool you. It's fruity but also piney and it delivers some bitter notes. I really enjoyed it.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours a hazy light golden orange with a finger of rocky white head that sticks around, smell is candied grapefruit peel, peach flesh, tangerine, green grape flesh, yellow cake, hints of pine resin and herbaceous hops, taste is melon rind, papaya, underripe peach, tangerine, yellow cake, mild pithy grapefruit and tangerine zest on the finish that lingers, feel is medium bodied, creamy carbonation. Tropical tangerine juice goodness.

A: The beer is very hazy pale and slightly whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of guava are present in the nose along with hints of pilsener malts.
T: The taste has flavors of pilsener malts along with notes of guava fruit and hints of grapefruit and lime citrus. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is detectable.
O: This beer unusually starts out tasting like a hybrid between a pilsener and and IPA, but then as it warms up the citrusy aromas and flavors become a little stronger.
Serving type: can

i love the name of this one, and the beer is pretty good too. i have never yet had a bad beer from threes, and at this point, i am expecting that i never will. it kind of looks like wallpaper glue, in a good way of course, but maybe thats where the name came from, matte and murky, but almost sticky too, like paste in water, but with the color of some pale two row, simple, but less is more often times, and threes proved that to me with pretty much every beer we had in here. the hops are fine, not over the top, and not all dry hopped to me either. citra is evident in nose and taste, a somewhat less delicate expression of it all told, but a distinctive white wine thing here too, slate minerals, kiwi fruit and skin, papaya or something, its not overly hoppy for the style, especially by todays standard of juice, but its great beer, balanced and with a little pop of bitter to end it. it wasnt the hoppy stuff that really turned me on here, but this is a solid ipa by any measure. seems like these guys have just about all the styles in the bag...

Pours medium-pale gold, hazed to opacity, with a fat white head that trailed lotsa lace down the glass... Floral aromas and citrus zest preview a grapefruit-forward IPA, dry and pithy on the surface but with an undertone of juicier tropical fruits... This beer is clean and fresh-tasting, moderately bitter, mildly sweet, and amply carbonated... I appreciate the subdued sweetness and the dry grapefruit pith bitterness... Supporting fruit impressions seems to suggest pineapple, guava, and lime with a faintly dank edge... A very nice, refreshing beer... 6/13/18 canning...
