A: Sunkist orange gives it a particular warmth.

S: Pine planks, teak wood, submerged sea pineapples, discarded melon rinds.

M: Med-high carb, moderately crisp off draft.

T: Everything about this beer is subtle yet powerful. Classic, clean citrus and passionfruit bitterness underlies a sweeter white wine character.

12 oz can, 12/21/16 on the bottom

Heavily hazed, dull looking, darker tangerine, nice looking tiny bubble film and leaving loads of fine low sheeting and scattered lacing.

Ripe tropical fruits all over the nose, mango, pineapple, oranges...nice smelling brew

On the palate is more of the same with ripe tropical notes in full force, again mango and some pineapple....tasty and dry in the finish

Sixer for $15 presale and $16 afterward...Feels pretty reasonable price-wise, although it occurs to me that 6 12 ounce cans is only 8 ounces more than a 4 pack of tallboys.

Either way, I like sixers.

As for the beer itself, it pours like pear nectar. Plenty of frothy head and lace is all over the glass long after each sip.

I love the smell on this brew---unripe mango, pineapple and orange juice. It's very nice on the nose.

Tastes less tropical in the nose and more dry, bitter, but still juicy and sweet grapefruit. There's a delicious floral quality here, not sure if it's the yeast or the hops or the malt, but it adds a sweet side to the beer that is great.

The beer has a light, easy-drinking quality to it and mellow hints of sweetness, but a prickly, dry bitterness reigns supreme and slightly cuts into the drinkability.

I'm halfway through my six-pack and been pretty damn happy with this purchase.

On-draught @ Threes. $9 per large pour.

Floral hop profile. Pale malt base. Balanced but uninteresting hopwise.
