Probably picked this up at Threes but it's been so long that I can't quite remember! The date on the bottom of the can read 5/10? 5/18? of '17 with "(something) MEDICINE" written above it. Sure, this was old but it held up well over the last two years as it wasn't a malt bomb or full of sediment that settled at the bottom of my pint glass.
Not the best or worst of pours to this as the liquid was quite dark, turbid, and topped off with plenty of foam. Amazingly, there was little lacing left behind as I worked my way through this, which was surprising from a beer brewed by Threes. Tons of strawberry, guava, star fruit, passion fruit, and juice in the nose that was a bit understated but so pleasing to the senses at the same time. The taste was just as dank, murky, and juicy as the aroma as underlying sense of star fruit and exotic floral tone set in. Low in carbonation, sticky juice, and an exotic sweetness drew me into this beer, even if it seemed to foreign to me during my session...
Not a lot of booze here but there was enough warming that took hold by the time I finished this off. Some slickness lingered on the palate once this fully went down

Canned 5/10/17. Was pretty surprised by this one. I'm not one for fruit additions in IPAs, but the pink guava really works here. Aroma seemed a tad sour but the taste strangely doesn't follow. Total sweetness from the front to back end. Also surprised how flavor didn't fall off too much considering canned 6 weeks ago. Nicely done threes.
