Clear, yellow color. Big, white head. Malt, dough, grass, and a hint of lemon and minerals in the aroma. Crisp, malty taste with hoppy bitterness.

This pours a clear, full yellow from the can, 1" head that settles out after two minutes or so; lacing coats the sides of the glass well. Nose is standard straw, lemon, and pilsner malt, but there is an additional brackishness that must owe to the oyster shells. Taste is sourdough bread, light sweetness, and very mild grassy bitterness through the finish. There's also some sourness on the finish as well, again what one would get from a loaf of sourdough. Oyster qualities aren't as prominent on taste as on the nose, but maybe there's a little salinity hidden in there? As this continues to warm, more savory notes - American cheese??? - start to come through more expressively. Feel is light with crisp carbonation. Overall, this was enjoyable, but the sour notes come forward too much for my liking and really linger.

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a moderate to high amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that has excellent retention properties and consistently left a half finger high head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate of bready and pilsener malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of bready and pilsener malts. No hops are detectable, although they contribute a light amount of bitterness and mask any malty sweetness. There are also notes to hints of salty brine towards the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer looks and smells like a traditional pilsner, but you can definitely get some bits of saltiness from the oyster shells towards the finish.
