Hazy golden with a big, white head. Funky aroma with notes of malt and grape must. Semisweet taste with yeasts and grape coming through. Very interesting and well executed.

Poured from a 500mL bottle into a Teku glass. Sauvignon Blanc 2015 Harvest (Champagne Vintage).
3.25/4.5/3.25/4.75/3.75
Pale, clear, spritzy with no head or lacing. Apple juicy.
Smells phenomenal. Super funky must, tart grapes, promising fruit.
Tastes more barnyardy than sour, with a deep, pungent earthiness, redolent of sod, rot, hay, and wild animal. Aftertaste is black pepper and goat cheese. It goes better in gulps, with the tartness and fruit more upfront, before you really dig into all those offputting, fun Brett notes. Improves as it warms.
Always tightly bubbly, moreish, and delectable. Let's do more champagne-yeasted beers, please.
Interesting, and nuanced, but ultimately not entirely pleasant (which is fine!).
