The only beer in our portfolio single-hopped with Nelson Sauvin, commonly referred to as Nelson, referring to the region in New Zealand it hails from (and its shared origin with Sauvignon Blanc wine grapes). Nelson is starkly different from most new world hops- its big tasting note is white wine, which is what differentiates this IPA from others in our portfolio. It serves up tropical notes of lychee and mango to fresh crushed gooseberries and spicy black pepper.

Cloudy orange color. Decent, white head. Citrus, tropical fruits, plus some dank hops notes in the aroma. Moderately sweet. Juicy taste with balancing hoppy bitterness.

Pours a dark golden, decent head and lacing. Smells of old gym socks, just funky. The taste is harsh carbonation and bitterness at first, but fades quickly to tropical fruit and a funky, yeastyness on the tongue, finishes with some bitterness. A pretty good beer, and one of the better I've had so far from threes.

Pours a hazy yellow orange color. A large cream head dissipates rather soon. It does yield a layer of film and lacing.

The nose is very fruity with a touch of herbal spice. A wide range of fruity aromas include pineapple, mango, gooseberry, lychee, orange, lime and grape must. There are herbal touches touch of grass and peppery spice.

The taste is juicy and frothy with little bitterness. The ultra creamy oats and malts support candied juicy fruit, including orange pith, mango, pear, gooseberry and lime. The spiciness is subdued with a touch of fruity resin, grass and mint. The finish is creamy, smooth and sweet; not particularly dry.

Medium bodied with a frothy, juicy and wet mouthfeel. The carbonation is relatively gentle.

Nice use of Nelson Sauvin. If you’re in the mood for something bitter, this is not for you. However, if you’re looking for juicy, creamy and smooth, this fits the bill nicely.

The other day, I simply felt like drinking a Pilsner and Vliet was ready-to-hand. Little did I realize that my drinking it was the equivalent of pulling that pesky loose thread on a sweater. Soon, everything unravels & you are left with just a ball of yarn! 8=O I realized that I had several Threes Brewing beers in abeyance for The CANQuest (tm) with one of them needing an approved pic! I was off & running with this as the next in my brewery horizontal.

From the CAN: "Forevermore India Pale Ale".

I was first drawn to this one simply by dint of its label art. It hints at surrealism & kudos to the artist as a result! I am reminded of the time that I put my head in my cheerleader girlfriend's megaphone, playing around, but when she took umbrage & shouted, it left me deaf for a week! 8=O

I Crack!ed open the vent & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed nicely, forming just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention, leaving nice lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4). Nose had a mild, not overpowering, citrusiness of (especially) grapefruit with some orange/CANgerine mixed in as well as a solid biscuit malt base. Hmm. The APA smelled like a German Pils & now the AIPA smells like the APA should have. Hmm. Mouthfeel was solidly medium. The taste was actually MUCH better than the nose had led me to expect as the hops suddenly awoke & became dominant, unleashing a pleasant citrusiness that quickly overcame the biscuity maltiness noted on the nose. It lacked a preferred bitterness, but it tasted pretty darn good. I was starting to feel better about myself as the citrusiness really beCAN to take 'hold. If a beer is too sweet for my taste, I CAN get a headache as a result so this was having a calming effect. Once more, though, I found myself thinking that I was drinking an APA. Hmm. Finish was semi-dry, still lacking the bitterness that would have made it truly dry. This was an odd one. YMMV.

Love all that Threes has to offer, and this is no exception. Enjoyed 9 days after canning, poured into a Teku glass. Wonderful brew. Pours a light orange color, similar to the design on the can. Taste follows the smell of citrus peel. Quite drinkable, would certainly recommend!

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like grapefruit, marijuana, biscuity malt, cheap white wine, and blueberry.

Threes IPAs are almost always tasty as hell, and this is no exception. It feels like a bit of a mix between West coast style and NE-style, with a much bigger lean towards West coast. It's got a clean grapefruity bitterness, and lots of Nelson-type material - grape skin, heavy citrus, etc. There's also a berry skin type thing, and just a hint of vague malt sweetness.

This is crisp and very clean, with a smooth and dry bitterness on the back end. It's quite drinkable.

I'm almost always going to dig Threes, and I'm almost always going to order them when I see it.

A: Huge 3 finger tusk white head is firm and foam. A dense and quickly moving effervesce resonates in a o.j. colored body. Heavy haze factor. Forevermore must be in regards to its head statute. Big chunky deposits of lace.

S: Sour lemonade and citrus, fresh and juicy. Tart with a hint of green melon. Mid awareness, with some lime and wet tropical grass.

T: Flavor of juicy peaches, tropical mangoes, with some milky citrus. Sweet and flavor forward with a warming sour fruity citrus hop finish.

M: Smooth creamy malt base, medium weight, slick and sticky with hop resins.

O: Overall tropical flavor, with warming lemon citrus hops. Very smooth and creamy malt base slides down effortlessly. Fruity flavor with a low and easy effervesce.

Canned 5-21-19
L: Orangeish.. hazy. Light head and fairly sticky lacing post pour.
S: Fruity, tropical and mild berry/melon in the back.
T: Juicy tropical, and berries carry the load. A variety of flavors that mesh very well together.
F: Light carbonation and bitterness. Medium MF. No overbite.
O: Outstanding flavor profile. Delicious! I bought these on a whim, and am Forevermore grateful I found it. This is Flagship material.
