Slightly hazy, mahogany color with a pink hue. Medium-sized. pinkish head. Barnyard and grape in the funky aroma. Tart, funky taste with notes of the wine.

This might be the best sour I've ever had, no exaggeration. I'm not one for detailed explanations, but I've had hundreds of sours over the past few years and this one stands out for the balance they strike with it. Extremely smooth and drinkable with the perfect subtle blend of fruity sour beer and a hint of wine.

unbelievable beer here! i have been more and more into beers with wine grapes, pretty much pick up all i can find, and this one seems a level above most, unsurprising with how good everything else i have had from threes has been so far. this is a pretty little bottle with a minimalist label on it, and it pops to a whoosh of carbonation escaping. into the glass with a cascade of lavender colored beer, light looking in body for its abv, holding an airy just off white head, with a little more sediment coming as we get lower in it, but only softly hazy overall, deep purple sediment in the bottom looks like grape particulate, i like the authenticity. the aroma is awesome, almost like lambic at first, with some super mature brett and dense oak, also with that funky iodine sort of medicinal thing, only moderately tart it seems, but my mouth waters like crazy anyway, the fruit is forward and honest and obviously cabernet grapes to me. the fruit carries the flavor, but the fermentation profile is pretty epic too. the grapes are as much like the wine they yield as they are the fruit, which i think is cool tons of nuance here, especially with all the oak. tannic and puckery but not at the end, its more farmy and rustic later on, with even some of the grain being appreciable here. enormously complex and delicious beer, one of my favorites ever in this style really, the maturity of the whole thing and the depth of the fruit just make it. id buy this again in a second if i had the opportunity!
