A: Poured from the half-growler (purchased at Westmere Beverage) into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy dark yellow with a 2-finger head of white foam. Loads of rings of lace left behind.
S: Sweet tropical fruit - papaya, mango - and ripe oranges. Some lactose sugar.
T: Tropical fruit - key limes, pineapple juice, a touch of oranges and orange peel. Bite of white pepper. Finishes with a surprising bitterness that kinda shows up out of nowhere on top of the sweeter stuff.
M: A little thin in feel. There seems to be a fine and active carbonation underneath the juicy exterior.
O: Not bad. Not great. My first beer from this brewery, and I'd give them another try.
