Unfiltered and can-conditioned for three weeks with Krausen lifted from an actively fermenting batch of Helles from our cellar. We love the raw simplicity of these beers, which are often young lagers that remain simple, smooth, and creamy despite their noticeable haze and fresh hop character. Yeast plays a big role in enhancing the flavor of this beer.

Clear, golden color. Nice, white head. Bread, floral hops, and lemon in the aroma. Perfectly balanced taste with just enough of herbal bitterness. This collab is worth being a year-round.

Pours into a becker a hazed light goden with a sticky half finger white head atop.Very grainy/doughy in the nose with floral hops coming into play as well.Bready on the palate with light toast, the finish is quite spicy and lingers for a bit.A solid kellerbier, light but with nice subtle nuances not mention incredibly easy to drink.

A: The beer is slightly hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and specks of bubbles covering both the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of doughy bread and yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has hints of floral/grassy hops, the latter of which also contribute a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this kellerbier to be a little more bitter compared to other beers in the style.

Can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours a slightly opaque amber gold with foamy/rocky white head, nice lacing, smell is bread rolls, brown bread crust, wet grains, sour grassy funk, taste is toasted multigrain bread and wheat, hints of baked apple and caramel, slightly sour grassy/lemony funky finish, feel is medium bodied, soft, and pillowy. A nice malty slightly sour and funky treat.

Poured from a can (12Jan2021) into a pilsner glass
L: pours a beautiful golden yellow (very clear, maybe the slightest suggestion of turbidity) with a moderate white head that fades after a couple minutes. Second pour quite cloudy (makes sense, can conditioned - perhaps should have rolled before pouring) with a dense short white head. Some chunky lacing left with each sip but nothing crazy
S: great malt-forward nose, slightly sweet graham cracker aroma leads nicely. On the hop front, a slight grassy note with some spice if I hunt for it. As it warms/I pour the rest of the can there’s more of a lemon note and a general bitterness cutting through that sweeter note I got at first. Very inviting
T: follows the nose well with the grassy character coming through more as well as some bitterness. Get that sweeter graham cracker flavor playing well against a great herbal note and some of that lemon from the nose. Overall would say a mix of graham cracker, grass, hay, lemon, light peppery spice, earthy/herbal w/r/t flavor. Finish is excellent, fairly long with that sweeter flavor gone and a slight earthy spice and bitterness carrying through
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation, quite smooth and refreshing
O: a truly excellent beer start to finish. Looks beautiful, nose is incredibly inviting, and the swallow takes it to another level. A+ job by Threes
