Naturally carbonated as per tradition and brewed with Kolsch malt, a full-bodied lager that's also wine-like and dry, with notes of white grape, white tea, and honey.

Clear, golden color. Big, good-looking, white head. Malt, fruits, and grain in the aroma. Pleasant hoppy bitterness in a malty taste. Crispy and easy to drink.

Pours a cloudy golden color. Thick, 3 finger white sudsy head forms on the beer, lingers a bit, then dissipates leaving a coating of lacing on the glass and a thin residual head on the beer. Aroma has subtle notes of crackery malts, some lemongrass and a light tea quality is noted. There is a subtle honey like note to the beer on the nose.
Taste follows the nose with crackery malts, some dried straw and grass, with some subtle white tea notes and lemongrass. A subtle sweetness comes through with notes reminiscent of honey or white wine. There is a mild dried grassy bitterness on the back end of the beer. Feel is light, crisp, refreshing. Semi-dry on the finish. Moderate carbonation.
Overall a very enjoyable kolsch style ale from Threes Brewing.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 5/18/21 into the test glass
A - Golden straw color, very nice clarity, Carbonation is steady and determined. A large frothy white cap is sustained for quite a long time.
S - Cereal grains, a bit of lemondrop and wet leaves, some Earl greey in there as well.
T - Tea crackers with a bit of honey, flavors run in a very narrow band, there is also a hint of salinity
M - Medium in body, almost heavy for the style, smooth on the palate, with an earthy finish
O - An interesting take on the style, one that fits well on this super hot day

A: The beer is slightly hazy amber yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high off white head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of black tea and wildflower honey are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has underlying notes of green grapes and hints of biscuity malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is some dryness in the finish.
O: This is an interesting Kölsch - it's definitely a bit fuller in body compared to what you would normally expect from a beer in this style and the flavors of tea and honey are unique.
