Amber color. Nice, off-white head.Caramel malt, nuts, and herbs in the aroma. Malty, moderately bitter, crisp taste. Very well balanced and crushable.

Pours a cloudy, mostly opaque amber brown color. Thick, frothy white head forms on the beer, lingers a moment, then dissipates leaving a thin layer of velvety foam on the beer. Aroma has notes of bready malts, lightly toasted, with a mild nuttiness. There are some gentle notes of oak or wood as well.

Taste follows the nose with notes of smooth, rounded malts, rustic brown bread, lightly toasted with some light grainy notes. There is a spicy, grassy hop note on the back end. Light woody notes come throughout with the smooth, oaky character to the flavors. Feel is medium bodied, smooth, with moderate carbonation. Finish trends drier.

Overall this is a very nice Czech amber lager.

A: The beer is clear amber in color (brown when viewed from afar) and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of biscuit and toasted malts are present in the smell.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that it has stronger flavors of the biscuit and toasted malts. There is an ever so slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and has a nice smooth mouthfeel.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.

Pours a mostly clear sunset sienna-amber topped by a finger of light khaki foam. The nose comprises caramel, buttery biscuit, light grass, cedar, light candied orange peel, and light pine sap. The taste brings in more of the same, the focus lying squarely on the caramel and candied orange peel. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a smooth feel. A rather tasty, easy-going bit of amber lager goodness.
