Pours a clear amber with plenty of foam in the Piraat tulip. Pleasant aroma of melon and lemon with a dose of pencil shavings. Mild taste that starts with a distinct malty sweetness. Light body and plenty of spritz on the tongue. Aftertaste is rather bitter, more of a bark and brambles sort of taste. there is something odd about this one, like a canned peaches note along with the woody taste. From the 16 oz can purchased on the West Coast for a silly high price. Dated 10/25/22.
