Side pull in dimple mug from Delaware Supply in Albany. Beautiful head and nice amber color. It’s a good beer. I was explain little softer mouthfeel.

Lucky number 3 from Threes? I’ve had 2 of their beers so far and was quite impressed with both. Those were a German Pilsner and Rauchbier so it seems like they have range, let’s see if that range extends to the Czech side of lagers too
Pours a clear deep orange with 2 fingers of creamy light beige head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose seems to have more to offer for me personally than the style typically does. I’m picking up on aromas of bread crust, herbal hops, black tea, biscuit, sweet honey, black pepper, golden raisin, and light clove
In taste the spicier notes are even more prominent and I’m all about it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting black tea, black pepper, herbal hops, biscuity malt, dark toast, orange zest, clove, and light pine. The swallow brings notes of dark bread, herbal hops, black tea, biscuit, sweet honey, orange zest, light clove, and golden raisin
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a balanced bitterness
This one is great. It’s easily my favorite CAL so far

Clear amber body, full khaki head and lacing. Toasty malt, earth, slight pine aromas. Taste adds a little sulfur, frothy yeast, and a hint of berries, less pine than nose. Malts run the feel with soft yeast backing for the mouthfeel, warming for a lager. This is a well made lager with a new world emphasis

Pours a clear, honeyed amber with some swell ass head that quickly diminishes to a foamy cap. Huzzah! I think this may be my first go-round with this particular style. I was expecting something similar to a domestic amber ale, but this is a much different monster on the nose. Spicier, for starters, and not as malt-forward. I suppose I should stop comparing, though. They're very clearly different. Anyway, this tastes a bit like a soft rye pretzel with some sweeter undertones. A bit of caramel. It's incredibly tasty. Crisp mouthfeel with a bit more heft than your standard lager. Maybe a touch too bitter on the finish. Could just be me, though. Either way, I dig it much.
