On tap at Threes Brewing in Brooklyn, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a very small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like a vanilla latte, with sweet creaminess, some caramel, and lots of dark chocolate.
This is much more pastry forward than I’d expect from Threes, but they still keep it relatively reigned in. There’s a really nice spicy and oaky barrel character, that provides the case for waves of creamy dark chocolate, pillowy sweet vanilla, a touch of caramel, dried dark fruit, and roasted malt.
This is sweet, but not overwhelmingly so, with not much booziness to it.
This isn’t really what Threes is known for, but they still executed it quite well.
