This beer is a pleasant surprise. While not an excellent robust porter, it is flavorful in a way I like. Poured from tap at the brewery poured into an English pint. Muddy dark brown color with a foamy beige head and good curtain lacing. Chocolate and herb smell and taste. Very pleasant rustic herbal flavor and a hint of sweet dark berries. Funky bitter finish. A bit thin for a robust porter but this is a beer I could drink on a regular basis.
