Poured in tulip, aggressive pour yielded 1+ light tan head, good retention, so so lacing. Murky brownish/ruby in the glass, little light passes thru. Strong barrel, bourbon on the nose, toffee, caramel and vanilla. Taste follows the nose, big barrel on first sip, sweet malt, caramel, toffee, vanillin on the front, dark dried fruit thru the middle and finishes with a slight boozy barrel left on the palate. Always kinda like the Nebraska BA beers, they are kinda balls to the wall on most of them

Look - murky brown ale with no head, lacing, or head retention.
Smell - boozy aroma with a little bit of deep caramel/malty breadiness.
Taste - boozy taste
Feel - very smooth, boozy lingering after taste but doesn't linger to the point of annoyance.
Overall- a good drinking smooth beer that could be enjoyed at home or at the bar. Wouldn't recommend drinking a few and continuing the night.
