This medium to full-bodied beer, pale to amber in color, is most accurately described as a Bavarian wheat beer. The aroma and flavor of this unfiltered beer is decidedly fruity and phenolic — a big word for a brew that tastes like cloves, nutmeg or sometimes vanilla with banana-like esters.

12 oz can into a tumbler, It's a good example of an American made hefeweizen. Color was a dull orangish yellow with good haze, carbonation seemed slightly low for the style. The aroma was more clove than banna. The mouth feel felt thin it didn't have the creamy feel you would expect. Overall not terrible

Appearance: Pours a clouded, yellow-orange-toned body with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: It's unabashedly big on the banana esters. Moderately wheaty, a little faint lemon and maybe a distant hint of pear dusted in a small pinch of spice.
Taste: Sweetened wheat malt with an edge of crisp crust. As with the nose, a little lemon and a little pear but it's still plenty of banana. This is one that leans into its esters as opposed to the spicy phenolics. All flavors, big and small, converge on the finish with an added sip of golden syrup for a bit of extra sweetness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Solid hefe.

Easy drinking and good flavor, taste is heavy on clove and banana. Good beer but not quite as good as its German counterparts.

Poured from a pull top can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange-yellow color with a tiny head of fizzy white foam. The head fades almost instantly, leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a wheat bread smell mixed with tons of banana and a little bit a decent showing of a clove and coriander smell. Along with these smells is a touch of citrus and a hint of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice blend of wheatiness and light orange and banana flavor. The sweet is rather light in comparison to what may have been expected from the nose. As the taste advances a bit of the spice that was in the nose comes also to the tongue with the clove being the most potent of the spice flavors. All the while a little bit of a hay and grass taste also come to the tongue and with a tiny increase in the orange, one is left with a nice crisp and clean, wheaty but lightly spiced and sweetened hefe taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thin and crisp with a carbonation level that is moderate. For the flavors of the brew and the drier nature the feel is great and makes this a super easy drinker.
Overall – Other then the somewhat weak appearance, this was a very tasty and super easy drinking brew. Rather well done and a nice one to try if you get the opportunity.

Such a delicious hefeweizen that pairs well with pork and steak. It's not too powerful, with banana bread flavor and notes of citrus. Very carbonated which is a personal favorite. Some hefe's leave you with a harsh after-taste if you don't sip water or eat with it but with eos you can drink it alone and it only leaves a slight yeast after-taste. Would recommend for those that appreciate a hearty wheat brew.

Unknown vintage; drank 7/19/15 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dandelion appearance.
Big, noisy white head which quickly dissipated; decent lace.
Banana, clove & faint black pepper notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Banana & mild clove flavors up front; mild orange citrus & black pepper notes on the finish.
This reminded me of a Belgian IPA; well made but not memorable.
