Served on tap at the JAX Seven Bridges location.
A fine red-brown color with a small and semi-durable off-white head. Almost no lacing.
Medium body with near medium carbonation.
Aroma: a load of caramel and bready malts with hints of spicy hops and rye.
Flavor: excellent balance. Seems like it is going to be too sweet but this is quickly counter by a good level of bitterness. A load of caramel malt with a fine touch of rye. Lasting aftertaste.
Best of the 6 beers I've had at Seven Bridges.
