A: 2 finger head. Black with no light getting through. Some lace.
S: espresso bean and brown sugar notes.
T: very watered down the espresso is there but somewhere between a normal stout and a true espresso stout. Roasted malt. No hops to speak of.
M: medium body, handpulled. Wet finish.
Overall: I like espresso stouts to be more on the espresso side and less on the stout side. This is a very tame espresso stout.

I've had this one more than once, but for whatever reason I decided to review it this time. Aroma is decent, but doesn't necessarily stand out. There are light hints of coffee along with other hints of dark malts. Mouthfeel is a bit on the watery side. Well...to be honest...this is just a "regular" stout so the mouthfeel might be okay for the style. Before I get any further into this review, let me say that any pub that serves real ales makes me happy. When I was just there, they actually had two on at once. It's hard to find places in FL with a real ale/hand-pump...much less two at the same time. That alone, makes me respect this place. The coffee stout was completely drinkable and sessionable. To be honest, I prefer more coffee flavor (this one was a bit too light in the coffee department for me), but if nothing else, you must admit that this brew had a nice balance between the light-ish stout and coffee flavors. If this place ever decides to make an imperial version of this brew, I hope I get to try it (and hopefully they'll increase the coffee quotient). By the way, the other cask beer was their IPA. I usually prefer an American style, but their British-cask-IPA is quite enjoyable. If you're ever in the JAX area, stop by Seven Bridges to see what's on cask.

poured into a pint glass from cask, beautifull dark , dark brown color, two full inches of cream, tan head.
smell of expresso, and drak chocolate.
tasstes of all expresso and malt, pure bliss, deep flavor, very unique, the bartender told me expresso is andded to the mash, and it shows, this beer is deep and robust.
mouthfeel is cream, thick and smooth, very drikable, sessionalbe , this is one of the best stouts i have ever head, seven bridges is hit and miss with thier beers, but by god they got this one right.
