In one word.... Unique...
A 4.0 Dark nutty brown amber color for a Pale Ale. Excellent foamy head and retention. Nice lace with some serious endurance!
S 4.0 Excellent smooth oat and hop aromas dance.
T 4.0 Very unique, malt backboned beer with a bold hop profile and a creamy oat presence. Hoppy but smooth.
MF 4.0 Medium body, lower carbonation.
D 4.0 - A very unique brew. I dig the creamy oat profile. Not really my style of brew, but I think it is well made and a solid offering.

Draft at Seven Bridges brewpub.
Poured hazy brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate caramel malty and hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet grainy flavor with an average smooth bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
Good change of standard styles brew.

A - Creamy white head on top of a golden brown body. Very cloudy with good head retention but not much lace.
S - Sweet malt and just a bit of caramel with some sour aromas from the toasted oats.
T - Malty with some sweet, toasted flavors and a mild hop flavor. Some muddy, sour fruit from the yeast and more of the toasted oat character from the aroma.
M - Low carbonation, medium body, and a medium sweet finish.
D - Puting this on a nitro tap was a mistake. It has a nice british texture, but it lacks any co2 bite that might cut the sourness from the toasted oats. Drinkable but a bit muddy and the oat character just isn't quite right. Still, this is a pretty good session beer and it could become a nice bitter if they dropped the toasted oats and put it on cask.
