This one is the standard house stout brewed as a coffee stout.
Single finger dark tan head with excellent retention and thick lacing on a near jet black body. Strong coffee and espresso notes pretty much dominate with subtle vanilla and chocolate notes in the background. Flavor is more of the same with toffee providing the subtle sweetness and a little more of the roasted malts coming through. The finish is very dry owing to the large degree of coffee in the one. Full body and light carbonation. The coffee lingers for a long time with this one. A nice beer for the coffee lover.
