10oz draft pour into a snifter.
Carmel colored body with 1/2in. tan head and some spotted lacing.
Aromas are difficult to ascertain in the taproom because the brewery shares the small space and a malt is roasting (my favorite smell).
Given that, there are alcohol and spice hints rising above the ambiant malt roast.
Taste matches with no burn, just a memory of alcohol in the sweet aftertaste. Park this in a barrel from your favorite bourbon distillery for several months and the world is yours.

Taste - Complex dark fruits, toasted caramel malts, spiced.
Black/Brown with a reddish hue
mostly opaque in clarity
Woody, toasted almost sweet aroma to the malty nose
Medium Body
Delicate lace on glass.
A hint sweeter than some other Scotch ales that would pair well with BBQ.
