16oz draft pour shows a dark, maple brown with what could have been a nice head if not for the boss pour. A ring of cream colored bubbles forms after agitation with sheets of leggy bubbles leaving random leopard skin lacing.
Aroma is roast beans: coffee and cocoa with no emphasis on either, just solid roasted dark malts and the flavor matches with no off flavors like the metallic tinge that can accompany this style.
Mouthfeel is full and silky, just shy of creamy, with a drying finish.
Overall a really nice example of the style.
