Copenhagen 27/6 2017. 33 cl bottle from Østerbro Vinhandel. Typographically cool label.
Pours opaque dark brown with small beige head. Settles as thin patch of foam sailing aimlessly around.
Aroma is rich and sweet. Raspberry, roasted malts, bitter coffee and a discrete whiff of vinous alcohol.
Soft carbonation and thick oily palate.
Flavor is fairly sweet with a tart fruit punch. Sweet slightly acidic berries in the aftertaste. Lingering.
They call it a "Sweet Bad Boy" on the label. That would be pretty accurate - if the ABV was a bit higher. But a pretty nice Fruit Stout.
